Multicultural Life

It’s about variety.

You’re not coming to college to surround yourself with people just like you.

You want variety. You want to meet people who regularly say and do things you’d never have thought of yourself.

The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services is there to spice things up. It provides programs and services to increase campus awareness and understanding of culture, racism and bias.

  • M.O.S.A.I.C. (Meeting of Students Addressing Intercultural Concerns)—enhances understanding of ethnic cultures and works to eradicate racism
  • Plains Pride—works to make campus safe for everyone regardless of sexual orientation
  • X-Clusive step dance team—promotes diversity awareness and understanding through dance, performance and special events
