Dates to Remember
Plan to apply to Nebraska Wesleyan University? Mark these dates on your calendar.
Early Action applicants
September 1
- Students may begin to apply for admission by submitting their application and required supporting materials.
November 15
- Deadline to apply for admission and submit required supporting materials, including financial aid application.
December 15
- You will be notified of your admission status and scholarship/financial aid eligibility.
January-April 15
- File Federal Income Tax Return (required to complete FAFSA)
- Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive your final NWU Financial Aid package.
January 15
- Deadline to respond to offers of admission and financial aid. If you choose to attend NWU, you must submit housing and financial aid documents and deposit when you accept the offer of admission.
Regular Decision applicants
September 1
- Begin to apply for admission by submitting your application and required supporting materials. You will be notified of your admission status on a rolling basis.
January-April 15
- File Federal Income Tax Return (required to complete FAFSA)
- Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive your NWU Financial Aid package.
- You will receive your final NWU Scholarship and Financial Aid package.
- You will be notified of your scholarship and financial aid eligibility on a rolling basis.
January 15
- You will be notified of admission status and scholarship/financial aid eligibility on a rolling basis.
March 15
- Complete FAFSA to receive your NWU financial aid package.
- Financial aid award letters will be mailed to eligible students on a rolling basis (for students applying for need-based financial aid).
- If you choose to attend, you must submit housing and financial aid documents and deposit by the date indicated on your scholarship and financial aid award letter.
May 1
- Deadline to submit an application for admission and required materials, including financial aid application.
Late Decision applicants
January-April 15
- You will receive your final NWU Scholarship and Financial Aid package.
May 1-August 1
- Students may apply for admission by submitting their application and required supporting materials.
- Complete FAFSA to receive your NWU financial aid package.
- You will be notified of admission status and scholarship/financial aid eligibility.
- Financial aid award letters will be mailed to eligible students (for students applying for need-based financial aid).

Transfer applicants
August 1
- Deadline to apply for fall enrollment by submitting an application for admission and required materials.
- Complete FAFSA to receive your NWU financial aid package.
- You will be notified of admission status and scholarship/financial aid eligibility.
- Financial aid award letters will be mailed to eligible students (for students applying for need-based financial aid).

December 1
