Nebraska Wesleyan does not offer a traditional Bachelor's of Science in nursing; however, faculty can advise traditional students on their options for starting a nursing degree at NWU.

- Almost all students provide care at Lincoln's free medical clinic, Clinic with a Heart as part of their coursework.
Careers and Outcomes
Nearly all students in our BSN program are full-time working nurses broadening their knowledge in:
- nursing leadership
- community health
- evidence-based practice.
Graduates work in health care organizations throughout Nebraska and the US. They are employed in:
- School nursing
- Pediatric, surgery, heart, orthopedic and rehabilitation specialty hospitals
- Physician offices and clinics
- Community health and home health agencies
- Hospice organizations
- Occupational health
- Long term care
Other graduates further their education by
- earning MSN degrees
- attending nurse practitioner school
- attending nurse anesthesia school.

- Students must be RN's before entering the BSN program. Most are full-time working nurses.
