Department-related Activities
- Sigma Delta Tau, the English honorary, has activities throughout the school year, like a Friday-night lock-in in Old Main.
- Students contribute to and edit Flintlock, the campus literary magazine.
- Many English majors and minors write for the campus newspaper, the Reveille.

- In case you need a translation, Professors Cognard, McClain, Herndon and Cypert speak Texan.
- Dr. Cognard's Elizabethan-era bed may have belonged to Shakespeare.
